Bridges have always held a fascination for me. They seem to take you to unknown places. There is always a little sense of danger as you are suspended in the air. They are the promise of a better path forward.

Today's picture was taken at the Japanese Stroll Garden here in Springfield. It will probably be the last of that series.

I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

I like unique looking structures like this. It doesn't look any more difficult to build than the normal boardwalks one sees, but they are pleasing to the eye. Something different, you know?

I like the way the bridge steps draw the eye throughout the picture. Nice shot.

Love that bridge. I like bridges too.

I had a nice look at your church website as well. I'll be back there again.

The framing is nice in that the steps just arch up but you can't see where they go. Very "steps to a higher plane" sort of Zen.

I've always thought Japansese architechure photographs well. I like the hard lines couples with soft textures. It works for me.

I enjoy the "what's just around that bend" feel of this photo.
