Yard Ladder, North Yard

One of those archive shots I was telling you about. I liked the simple lines in this shot. I had to get the switch stands in on the left but now wonder it the picture would have been better if I had moved the track to the left and just included rail. I will have to try that one someday.

Not much else going on. We had fun taking pictures around Springfield this weekend and hope to share some results soon.

Have a great Monday.

I really like this one Mike. The converging lines would have stopped me in my tracks too. (One har-dee-har out of ten for the atrocious pun)

I'd like to wander around such a place, if it weren't too busy with train traffic.

There is nothing simple about this...I love it Mike.

This is a great shot! The lines of the tracks really draw your eye. I loved your porch shot from yesterday too. That could be a postcard!

I like it the way it is. It would be a cool shot with out the switch lights as well...but it would be more geometric and less "train" if that makes sense. Give the other way a shot...but currently, I'm digging this one.

LOL Hi Mike

I see Anna is rubbing off on you, I culd see immediately that you have been visiting her blog. This is a fabulous image, well seen and composed. Love the front porch on the lake, I can just imagine sitting there and enjoying the sunshine and peace with all of the birds and animal sounds. There again I have just watched a horror movie (I dont normally watch sci-fi or horror but Larry has discovered the Sci-fi channel on Dish TV) which was based around a creature who ate people while they were on the pier of a lake!!!!

John and Anna are constantly ribbing each other about the close crops that Anna does.

Hope you are well and I promise as soon as I can I will get some updated pics of your "little buddy". He is due to be weaned from his momma in a few weeks. I usually have more than one baby so that they can be company for each other but I dont have anyone for him so I think he is going to be a lonely baby until the baby from Iowa comes at the end of September.

(((Hugs)))
