Dad's Worst Nightmare

What I am listening to: Long Way Home, Nora Jones. (Seemed fitting)

My youngest daughter Amy went to a band event at her high school last night. She came home with this picture. Hmmm, maybe it is a good time to get HER out of town.

Thought you all would enjoy this shot.

See you all on Monday. Take care and be safe.

It certainly does look like Dad's nightmare. Yikes. Get her out, fast!

Um, yeah, I think that probably would be a Dad's worst nightmare ;)

Whoa. Um, my band buddies and I (well, except for two) never were that tan. You sure this was a band event?

But seriously, the tan lines on that guy on the far left scare me. What's he been wearing?

I just answered my own question. He and at least one other guy are drummers, and those lines are caused by the "things" used when marching with a drum.

So, there's your CSI proof that she was at a band event!

Too funny, Mike.

Mark - Thanks, I was going to ask about the tan lines on those two. Although I've never seen shirtless marching..it obviously happens

Hi Mike

I havent had a chance to catch up on all of your posts but wanted to check in and say hi. I have posted some pics on my blog today for you of your little buddy, I am sure you will get a laugh out of them.

I think of you every time I see a train (which is often seeing as we live next to a busy track LOL)

Great shot. There's nothing threatening in this photo that a Dad with a 12-gauge couldn't rectify though. I mean, you DO live in the Ozarks, and you could get all "Deliverance" on 'em.

Oh MY!
Time to lock her up in a high tower somewhere far away!
Fabulous picture and narrative.
A couple of them look like they had been sunbathing in wrestling suits!
