An Average Yellow Star...

Astronomers say our sun is an average yellow star. It may be average, living in a galaxy that is populated by white dwarfs, hot blues, cooler oranges and red giants, but God has taken one average yellow star and made it special. With the Earth at exactly the right distance from the sun it provides life, the days not getting too hot and the nights not too cool. Life has flourished under this simple yellow star.

Thank you Lord for making this simple, average yellow star possible.

Hi Mike,
Came by way of Anna's!
Let's see - the yellow rose is beautiful, the smiling yellow little fellow is precious, and this sun is awesome!
Glad I stopped by.

Isn't it amazing? And, a nice way to fit into Project Yellow.

I always find it fascinating how the "average" and otherwise unsung elements of our lives are by far the most important ones of all.

Thank you for this timely reminder. Beautiful shot and beautiful sentiment.
