Black Eyed Susans

These black eyed susans were located close to the abandoned building that has been featured for the last couple of days. Wildflowers are abundant this year due to the large amount of rain we have received.

One of my favorite wildflowers. My sun calls them sunflowers right now, but with his recent interest in black-eye peas, I'm not sure we even need to try to correct him.

The above should have been me. I was setting up something else and didn't realize I still was logged into Google. Oops.

I just have to agree with you. This has been a perfect year for us so far. Everything has come in just the right amounts and on time. I don't think paradise could get much better than it has been here where we live and Nature has responded with an abundance of everything except honey bees but then they started showing up last week and my blessings are mounting.

Hi Mike, Happy 4th of July to you and your family, hope you are all well. I have enjoyed going through all your most recent photos again, such a great variety of shots and I love that you are getting more adventurous with Photoshop too!! It can be addictive though so be warned.

Taxes got the snip nearly 2 weeks ago, so he is now a gelding and has quietened down a lot. I have been hectic as usual so have not had time to spend with him yet, but am hoping my issues will resolve themselves and I will get my passion back for my horses and life in general. He is so big, and is taller than most of my adult horses already and he is only 15 months old. He sure is a beautiful looking boy though, I will get some pics of him soon. He still likes to nip though!!
