Strands of beads hanging in an open air type market?
OK that wasn't hard enough. Heidi nailed it and Mark was pretty much on target except they weren't candy. This was taken at the Finley River Mountain Man Rendezvous at Ozark Missouri this past weekend. These were indeed beads/necklaces hanging in an open air market. The other items for sale included fur, Native American blankets, knives, walking sticks, powder guns, 1840 camp supplies, etc. Very interesting!
I was just getting ready to say I agree with Heidi...and then I read your comment! ;)
I'm too late. I was going to say puka necklaces that one buys in open air markets...Oh well. Great shot of all the colored lines of beads.
Very cool capture.
