Xeriscape Garden - Shades of Blue

Ok, I have to admit I am running out of blue pictures and this one is stretching it a bit. I, unfortunately, won't be able to get out and get anymore pictures until the weekend.

This shot was taken at about f4.5 with my 18-200mm lens. I kind of liked the way the shallow depth of field worked out.

I like it too. The softness works well behind the rose. Blue has many shades and tones to it so this works for me.

I think it is beautiful! I love the depth of field. Can't wait to see what you find this weekend! The kids and I are going on the train tomorrow to Silverton...I will be thinking of you as we ride! ;) And of course, I will be taking tons of pictures!

I'm guessing the "blue" here is in the very soft flowers in the foreground and background? I think my monitor's out of whack, because another PB pic you put out here looked purple to me.

Pretty even if it is stretching blue.
