American Classic - Old Bent's Fort Part 2

Native Americans were nomadic and designed the unique tee pee. Mountain men ended up copying the design for their own use. This replica was up at Old Bent's Fort. I liked the look of it against the cirrus clouds over the plains.

Gasp! What a sky. You made a terrific picture out of it!

That is a very striking photo. It also fits well with the Thematic Photographic this week: Monochromatic. It think you have seen Carmi's themes over at Written,Inc.

Hi Mike :)

I'm making the rounds to say hi and tell my blogger friends I'm back and alive and well and so very appreciative of all your kind words, well wishes and prayers while I was gone.

I'll be back later to check out your blog and see what you've been up to while I was gone.

I love your new header photo and the sky in the teepee shot.

I've been scrolling. Great pix, as usual. I watched "Men in Black, II" last night. Still funny after all these years. You're "Take 2" reminds me of those guys. Well, one of them, anyway.

I just posted some Red and Green photos this evening because I missed out on Anna's R/G Projects earlier. Stop by. :)
