Project Black - Take 2

Men in Black 3? No, just a self portrait.

Taking a picture of yourself is not the easiest thing in the world to do! Between trying to get the exposure, focus and composure set and a few persistent raindrops this evening it was a trying time! I came up with the idea for this picture this morning when I was walking into work. I realized then that I had subconsciously worn black. Anna!!!!

I got to thinking about that and my movie theme from yesterday. Then there was the enormous (for me) response it generated along with a challenge to top that one. That's when the MIB theme hit me. So there you have it.

Now for those of you who read my blog just to keep up with what is going on in our lives you may be wandering what this project black thing is. Visit Anna's blog and see what is going on!

What a cool shot! I love it. I couldn't do a self portrait - for which everyone should be VERY grateful.

Great shot to continue your theme!
I must admit my first reaction before reading your narrative was to think of the Blues Brothers.
Guess that's dating me some in relation to MIB. :)

Hi Mike
Very debonaire (Sp!), great self portrait, I love your flowers in yor header, I decided to change mine yesterday for some reason, not my usual horse subject.

I hope you got to see the ics of Taxes from a few posts ago, you wont believe how big he is, and he has quietened down dramatically but still has that spunky spirit so he hasnt lost his character just ot driven by his hormones anymore LOL Poor boy.

Thanks for the suggestion on the plant/tree, I will look that up online and hopefully ID it one way or the other.

Your wedding pictures are beautiful, a completely different perspective from what the official photographer would get and I bet they are going to love them.

The Rennaisance Fair looks like it was a lot of fun too.

My regards to you and your family.

Very intimidating! Now I know who to call when those pesky aliens give me trouble.

Great shot. :)

Very cool! You look so serious and I'm imagining a secret weapon hidden in the camera casing because that's what secret agents do ;-)

I thought you had managed to sneak up on a Secret Service agent!!

Great self portrait, they are so hard to do.

So did you have your other camera set up on a tripod with a timer? That is about the only way we ever get a picture together, me and my hubby. Great idea and love the picture.

I also thought at first that you had snuck up on a secret service agent or something!!!

Very cool photo for Project Black!
