Mellow Yellow

This shot was taken at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center. It was part of a whole field of yellow flowers, most of which were varieties of Black Eyed Susans. I believe is a variety of the same flower that does not have the prominent "black eye". Perhaps someone can confirm.

Be sure and read the comments on yesterday's post, the discussion got a little "deep".

I like this one. The dark background helps it stand out even more than does the shallow depth of field.

Wonderful banner shot you have up right now.

I saw the rest of your rollergirl series, too. That was a great opportunity for you to do that for them (and yourself).

Your new title shot is beautiful. The colors remind me that fall is around the corner and we will mark our first anniversary as Ozarkians. Boy have I taken a lot of photos! Also, thanks to your great close-ups at the Xeriscape Garden I sought out that charming little spot last week. I became buddies with a teasing butterfly --- downloads to come.
