Morning at Nathaniel Greene Park

This was taken early in the morning at Springfield's Nathaniel Greene Park. I have been taking some time to take some early shots before I go into work. The light is magnificent when you hit the right day.

Don't forget about the High Noon Photo Contest described below. So far I have had very little participation. Is this too tough of a competition?

Great banner pic.

I've shot a few photos for my second week of participation. Should be getting one of them to you soon. So, does the low participation rate mean my odds are good for the big prize?

Oh, and that flower macro is great, too. Love the color and the menace in that flower.

So far your chances are great! LOL. Does make we question the long term viability of the site!

I love the contrast between the softness of the flower and the harshness of the stem. It is very well done.
