Return to Ha Ha Tonka

It is a new season and there were remnants of a snowfall so when Amy and I were returning from Westminster College the other day we took a slight detour at Camdenton to re-visit one of
my favorite photo locations. It was a cold gray day, which I liked, but Amy stayed in the car as I trudged through about four inches of snow to get some shots. I love this place in the winter when the leaves on the trees don't hide as much of the castle.

Great pics, and it's interesting that you posted them considering what I just received in the mail from a mutual friend (I guess strictly an online friend for you).

Neat place I hope I can visit some day.

I love the tower shot. I've said it before, but you are capturing these places I have seen millions of times through my childhood and which have been so oft photographed in beautiful ways that I've not seen before. Well done.

These are beautiful photos! What a fascinating relic. The tower shot is so stately and the b&w looks so serene. I haven't been up to that part of the state yet. Looks like a great day trip. Thanks for sharing.
